Collages on book pages, from the series Wire Dancer, 19.5 x 12.5 cm. An ongoing project since 2014
„(…) The black and white illustrations from the book on tightrope walkers‘ biographies have been collage-like supplemented with colored triangles, stripes or planet-like dots. Existing compositions from the original are taken up, but at the same time new formal emphases are placed in order to allow the artists to continue to float in their own cosmos high up in weightlessness – removed from the rest of the world. The dizzying height, which is hinted at in the vertical tendency of the wall drawing, is continued in a fabric work placed in the center of the room, which takes up the entire height of the motor hall, oscillating between curtain and vertical cloth of the artists, continuing the theme of the aerial acrobats (…).“
